About Us

Borealis Beading, established in 2014, is owned and operated by Melanie Gamache, a Red River Métis Francophone beadwork artisan. Located 1hr from the Winnipeg International Airport. Our primary offering is experiential tourism products focusing on immersive Métis cultural learning experiences, PERLAGE: A Métis Voyage and Métis Connections Series. Other offerings include accommodations in our Per"LODGE" p'chite mayzoon (tiny house), and gift shop carrying items from Indigenous and local artists.
